The app serves as a digital platform that connects Work Seekers (individuals offering blue-collar and skilled/unskilled labour services) with Work Providers (businesses, companies and contractors seeking such workers).

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through the Karmika app, the purposes for which it is used, how it is stored and shared, and the rights available to you as a user. This policy applies to all users of the Karmika mobile application.

We collect the following categories of data when you use the Karmika app:

• Precise or approximate geographical location (only if you grant permission through your device settings)

E. Financial and Transaction Data

• UPI IDs / masked card information (processed by third-party payment gateways)
• Subscription payment history

3. How We Use Your Data

We collect and process personal data solely for the following purposes:

• To create, manage, and maintain user accounts on the platform.
• To match Work Seekers with relevant job listings and Work Providers.
• To share contact details between matched parties upon subscription or job application.
• To process subscription payments and maintain transaction records.
• To provide customer support and resolve disputes or issues.
• To monitor platform activity and ensure compliance with our policies.
• To comply with applicable tax laws, regulatory obligations, and legal requirements.
• To analyse usage patterns and improve app performance and user experience.

We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing , promotional campaigns, or spam.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your personal data in the following limited circumstances:

With Other Platform Users:

• Work Seeker’s contact details are shared with Work Providers upon confirmed job application, and vice versa, upon subscription.

With Service Providers:

• We use reputable third-party providers for cloud infrastructure (AWS, Firebase), analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics), and payment processing (Razorpay). These providers are contractually bound to keep your data secure and to use it only for the purpose of providing services to us.

For Legal & Regulatory Compliance:

• We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or a competent regulatory or law enforcement authority.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for commercial purposes.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including:
