Cancellation and Refund Policy
Effective Date: August 19, 2025
This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms governing cancellations, suspensions, and refunds for services accessed via the Karmika mobile application and website (“Platform”), operated by RASA MARCON PRIVATE LIMITED, having its registered office at D5, Jai Ganesh Vision, Akurdi, Pune – 411035, Maharashtra (“Karmika”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By using the Platform, you (“User”), whether as a Work Provider or Work Seeker, agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Platform.
1. General Scope
Karmika acts solely as a digital facilitator, enabling Work Providers and Work Seekers to connect by exchanging contact information through a subscription-based model. We do not guarantee hiring, engagement, or successful interaction between users.
Due to the nature of the service (i.e., immediate access to counterpart contact details upon payment), all subscription fees are strictly non-refundable.
2. Nature of Subscriptions and Service Delivery
- Work Providers gain access to applicant contact details;
- Work Seekers gain visibility to posted jobs and share their profiles with Work Providers.
Daily Validity Clause:
Each subscription is valid only for the calendar day (Indian Standard Time) on which payment is made, i.e., from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM, regardless of the time of day the payment is processed.
No pro-rata credit, rollover, or extension will be offered for partial-day usage.
3. Non-Refundability of Subscription Fees
All subscription payments are non-refundable, including but not limited to cases where:
- A Work Seeker does not receive a job offer or response;
- A Work Provider receives limited or no applications;
- Communication or hiring outcomes are not satisfactory;
- A job is rejected, withdrawn, or left incomplete by either party;
- User discontinues usage after making payment.
Karmika’s services are deemed fully delivered upon access to counterpart contact details or visibility of job/applicant postings.
4. Suspension Due to Non-Payment
Failure to pay subscription fees will result in:
- Immediate hiding of job posts by Work Providers;
- Suspension of Work Seeker visibility from search and application feeds.
Service access will be restored only upon renewal or payment of dues. No credit, refund, or extension will be issued for lost access during non-payment periods.
5. No Role in Engagements or Fulfillment
Karmika does not participate in:
- Employment contracts;
- Payment settlements;
- Hiring decisions or negotiations;
- Statutory compliance or benefits enforcement.
All hiring decisions and work arrangements are made directly between Work Provider and Work Seeker. Karmika disclaims any liability arising from such interactions.
6. Chargeback Abuse Disclaimer
Once subscription fees are paid and access to contact details is provided:
- Any attempt to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with a bank or payment gateway shall be deemed unauthorized and fraudulent;
- Karmika reserves the right to permanently block the user’s account;
- We may take legal action to recover the disputed amount, along with applicable penalties and legal costs;
- Fraudulent chargebacks constitute a breach of these Terms and applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.
7. Service Interruptions
In the event of technical issues or scheduled maintenance:
- Temporary delays in access may occur;
- Karmika will attempt to restore service promptly, but is not liable for refund or credit unless the issue is substantial and caused solely by our infrastructure.
8. Dispute Disclaimer
In case of:
- A party being unresponsive or dishonest;
- Unfulfilled job promises;
- Misuse of data;
Karmika shall bear no responsibility or liability. All such matters are to be resolved directly between the Work Provider and the Work Seeker.

10. Policy Amendments
Karmika reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be published on the Platform and will take effect immediately. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
By using the Karmika Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
